Demonic Cultural Artifacts
The Demons are known for their need and desire for blood. But there is so much more to the Empyreals than that...

Crowded streets of silver-skinned, horned Demons
Creatures from throughout the world in iron cages
The ferric scent of blood and spices
Affection and Romance
Demons do not have marriage. Some may enter into monogamous agreements but on the whole, demons do whatever they like on an individual basis in all relationships.

The Demons have magic pheromones and do not express their affection verbally as often. In most cases, a Demon can basically "smell" how others feel. As such, a Demon can just walk up to another Demon and see how far things go.
Romantic and sexual attraction is exceedingly obvious to basically everyone. Asexual and aromantic demons tend to find it easier to navigate their identities because they physically smell different from other Demons, and other Demons respect their individual needs. There may be some individuals who are unable to sense pheromones properly, but they are very very rare. Unfortunately, in many cases, they're very likely to just be eaten or turned into food because the difference between a Demon and a non-Demon is blood magic - without it, it is an ordinary creature and not perceived as a member of the hive.
Demonic Vowels
The demons invented written vowels in Yssaia. Many humans had logographies before the introduction of written vowels, which were difficult both to use and learn. They were first introduced to the Northerners and much later adopted by the Southerners. Every culture around the world since, over the last few thousand years, has adopted vowels inspired by the Demonic Vowels.
