The Demons are governed by a Hive-mind-like Monarchy. Their central leader is the Demonking or Enharr, and this individual is frequently the one with the strongest blood magic. The title and associated collected power is typically passed to the eldest offspring of the Queen Mother or King Father.

The Royal Family are the only Demons who are exempt from the moral implications of forcibly indebting someone. Their power, magically and physically, is significantly greater than the other Demons due to the magic in their blood. In times of strife, the Royal Family is expected to lead the Demonlands as well as protect the Demons from external threats. To thank them for this, every Demon serves and protects them in turn.

Crime and Punishment

In the Demonlands, there are no laws--one simply does as they like and if the others dislike it, they will stop them.

There are only two guiding principles:

1. You must repay your debts

2. You must not be in debt.

Demons typically all make blood pacts with the Demon King to maintain equilibrium and this is how any semblance of order is maintained.
