BIO
Narrative Game Designer & Storyteller
I became a game designer to tell stories and build worlds, like the ones found in my childhood dreams. When I was young, I remember playing games in the "forbidden" forest around my school with my friends. I remember the delight of spinning grandiose tales and building snow forts which became our castles. I resolved never to lose that magic.
Now, I am a narrative designer with an affinity for quirky systems to represent those narratives. I worked at Serenity Forge in the early 2020s designing narrative systems and playtesting daily builds. Before that, I interned at Wizards of the Coast during the Pandemic and got to be pretty flexible with work conditions. I graduated from DigiPen Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Arts in Game Design. (I stubbornly mention my International Baccalaureate diploma but that's only to appeal to the other post-IB folks).
When I am not playing games, I am authoring my multimedia fantasy worldbuilding project, Yssaia, (usually under the Amaiguri branding) planning for my players' next Dungeons and Dragons session, or designing interactive art installations for my elaborate parties. (Ask me about my Assassin-Princess Party -- I got my boss to dress up!)
